This is our third time renting from Piwiwiwi, and we wouldn’t choose any other company. The vans are so well equipped with everything you could need for a road trip, and the amount of storage space for personal belongings is a standout feature. It’s not often we travel by van and feel like we have too much space! 😁

The campers are always clean and well maintained, and Nick is always so easy to communicate with. We highly recommend Piwiwiwi - it’s lovely to support a family business creating such epic experiences for their customers!

We rented a campervan from Nick and the whole experience was amazing! Nick was very helpful in the months leading up to the rental and everything was very clear. The van was also great, not too big that we had issues driving it, and not too small so we were able to have more than enough supplies and storage space. Last April we had the most amazing time 3 weeks with these fantastic   campervan .we used these for the South Island only but wish we had used for the hole trip in new zealand. From the start the  booking was made very easy even from the uk through WhatsApp and was helped with very step
When we landed a very warm welcome and felt like we were in safe hands
Walked us through very thing we need to now with the van ,,,helped with maps places to go and even gave us directions and recommended a lovely  first spot of Oxford not to far down the road ,
We new if we had any trouble help was just a phone call away.
And the is down to the family touch and not a big company which only care about money
For the van it climb mountains and cover many miles with no difficulties
The design 👌 was spot on for a little van it had so much going for it ,,
Very easy to cook and move around never felt cramped and iam a big lad
The gas ,the water ,and electric was so easy .we did many days off grid never had to worry about the batteries, the fridge was brilliant had plenty of room and keeper very cold
For me and my partner the van ,the piwiwwi family made the trip perfect and we would definitely use them again next we are thier the people are very welcoming the country is amazing and still so much to see

I couldn’t recommend Nick and his team more. The service we received from start to finish was above and beyond expectations, they were so helpful, knowledgeable and informative. They made our trip so effortless and seamless we had no stress or miscommunication through this company. I would definitely recommend and be using there services again. We travelled around the South Island for a month with one of Nick's vans.
The van was in a great condition and the layout was really well thought out. We tried a different, larger company in North Island, but this was so much better!
He was also so kind to pick us up at the airport and dropped us back to the city.

Our 3rd trip with Piwiwiwi and we love them. The vans are such a great layout, the bed is huge and it comes with everything you need for an amazing trip exploring New Zealand. No big branding on the van so you blend in with the locals and very easy to drive. The vans are the perfect size, not too big so you are able to park easily and get to the good spots. This is a great small family owned business.  It was a pleasure working with them.  They have loads of local knowledge to help you plan your trip.  Their vans are big enough to cook and sleep in, but small enough to easily park at the grocery store.  They build the vans themselves and they are cleverly laid and kitted  out, easy to drive, and simple to use.  Highly recommend.  I would use these guys again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in a van hired from Piwiwiwi. We travelled for 6 weeks total to both islands and wish we had even more time! Nick was always quick to respond and of great assistance throughout. Highly recommend. We look forward to returning one day for round 2!

Wat hebben we genoten van de Toyota Hiace campervan op het Zuidereiland. Nick van Piwiwiwi kwam ons ophalen bij het hotel. Dus hoefden we niet zelf een taxi te regelen en bracht ons ook zonder moeite naar de luchthaven. Heel vriendelijk en welkom.
Nick nam uitgebreid de tijd om alles uit te leggen over de camper en gaf goede route tips. Met de slogan; It’s a crime to drive more than 2 hours :) De camper zelf heeft een goede wegligging en reed daardoor makkelijk. Je kon parkeren op gewone parkeerplekken voor boodschappen. Handig voor onervaren camperrijders zoals wij.
Alles zeer praktisch ingericht. De backpacks konden mooi opgeruimd worden in de bovenbak boven het slaapgedeelte. Hierdoor had je echt veel ruimte binnenin. Vooral als het weer het niet toe laat om buiten te zitten, is deze ruimtelijke beleving heel fijn.
Kortom wij hebben enorm genoten met deze camper op het Zuidereiland.

The best decision we made for our 3 week road trip around the south island! The camper was clean and had everything we needed included. No issues at all with the camper, it was clearly well maintained and ran wonderfully! Nick was fantastic with advice from start to finish.
